There is much to celebrate with regard to the historic house of Charlie and Gail Ransler on Broadway and 28th Streets. For one thing it holds ownership to a magnificent cherry bark oak tree, and even though it may not be a record-breaker, it IS an impressive specimen. The century-old house also still stands on what was once the Edgewood Dairy which provided milk products to Paducahans at the turn of the century.
