Created, directed and scored by Harper, the film follows a young girl, played by Sophie Bullock, as she navigates the loss of her mother while enduring emotional challenges from her teacher, portrayed by Susannah May. As events unfold, she begins to uncover a hidden truth that changes everything.

The film captures Harper’s focus on powerful storytelling through emotional complexity, combining elements of drama and suspense.

Ma Prison was developed with the support of I Ain’t No Herb Jackson Studios and executive producer Herb Jackson Jr., known for championing independent filmmakers and original voices in cinema.

A new documentary spotlighting a pivotal campaign to secure funding for lobular breast cancer research is set to premiere at this year’s 33rd Raindance Film Festival in London.

Titled ‘Our Journey with Lobular Breast Cancer’, the important feature-length film tells the story of the Lobular Moon Shot Project, launched in 2023 by Dr. Susan Michaelis. The campaign has gained support from 365 Members of Parliament, forming a majority in the House of Commons, who are seeking to back a five-year, £20 million research programme into invasive lobular breast cancer, the second most common type of breast cancer in the UK.
