Funny that Facebook reminded me that this was posted two years ago today...Someone showed me a few weeks ago that it ended up going viral on another site and got thousands of comments and insane amount of shares. I had no idea. I'm glad I made it. :)
It really was my first drum kit. I remember the metal legs of the desk were my hi-hats and cow bell, my feet were my kick drums and the desk top was everything else. And depending on what kind of shoes I was wearing, the book rack under the desk in front of me was some kind of weird sound effect. My apologies to my classmates who tolerated my beat making decades ago. You gotta admit though that I had some super tight pencil eraser drum roll skills. :P
Spent a lot of hours mastering triplets and double bass kicks on this kit.

I have just relocated to San Francisco from Portland and will have a bunch of exciting updates for you soon. Moving the family and getting situated in a new place is a long and challenging process and I really appreciate everyone's support and understanding throughout it all. You are all awesome! :)
