A fantastic drive with Philip Norfleet to Harlan Estates. Perfect late afternoon Napa sun for the top-down excursion. Kind of a sneaky private entrance, and we had the place to ourselves. As a Supersports Coupe owner and previously a Continental GTC Speed owner, he gave me great insight and confirmed many of my driving impressions. A new friend and a most memorable Bentley moment, with more to come.

After checking in to a superb Metropolitan Suite at the St. Regis (with views of Yuerba Buena Gardens and the Museum of Mod Art) and a down and dirty raw bar lunch at SF legend Swan Depot, I'm planning a jaunt in the Bentley across the GG Bridge. Tomorrow I head to the heart of Napa.

Just added the charming Farmhouse Inn in Sonoma to my itinerary. Should be a nice, relaxing stop after an exciting day working my way up from Napa to Mendocino then down the coast to Bodega Bay in the Bentley Supersports. My flight leaves JFK Friday at the crack of dawn!
