I had the perfect year of Streaming last year, to me when I got to the end of Christmas and made that long arse video celebrating my year of streaming it was one of the highlights of a streaming career that started in 2017.

I wish I had stopped then and done that last stream as my last stream ever instead of going on like a half dead dog for the first months of this year and then just fizzing out without anyone even noticing...

As the old saying goes "go out on a high and leave them wanting more"

I do feel that the VHS gives more of the scene quite alot here and the DVD cuts the top off too much, especially in the part where Johnny 5 comes out of the crate.

Just playing around how I want my comparison videos to look and you can really see the difference in framing, i've done a short test on Short Circuit. I thought the timing was off but after watching again I can see they can cut a second or so from the VHS on some of the parts

Welcome to Longview and friends. Before I get to the nitty gritty of what this page is about a brief history. Longview and Friends was found some years ago under the name “Gaming Paradise Streams” in September 2019 it was decided to change our name to better accomodate what we are doing. This page is built up of several behind the scenes people who work to help improve the quality of the content we provide and to help share that content to people that might enjoy it. Who is Longview? Longview is a man who was born in 1981 and spent his entire life gaming, he started with the Atari 2600 until he got a Nes and has been gaming across multiple platforms ever since. At this present moment in time he is the sole streamer on this page so his face is the one you see the most. Our Page aims to do several things

1 - Provide quality streaming of mainly retro games using the original Hardware. This means that we do not use emulators or save slates, unless its to stream arcade games

2 - To complete all games once started This is a rule that is hard to follow but is followed a majority of time, if Longview starts a game he wants to always finish it

3 - To interact with the viewers. Whats the point of Streaming if we don’t have some kick arse people to watch and chat too?
