It is a great pleasure to share the news that our University now has international accreditation! A very positive step for us! The University of St. Martin is for the people of the island and in order to progress as a nation, education has to be made a national asset. Let us continue to invest in our institution. It is just as important as the harbor and airport!

Freedom of speech is a vital aspect of democracy. It has lead to thousands of deaths across the world due to the power that just one, truthful voice can display in challenging the status quo. The reason why those in power usually try to silence those who speak the truth is because of the threat they pose. However, that is the single most important reason why journalist exist; to speak (write) the truth so that those who have been lied to use their power to create a positive impact. It is for that sole purpose that St. Martin Speaks was founded with the motto “Educate. Inspire. Empower.”
