On a recent first date we caught up for a drink. Literally we ordered one drink each. It was going really well. He drank his glass of prosecco and half of mine - which I offered since I was feeling a bit under the weather. He paid with a $50 note, then took the $15 I offered and hastily put it into his wallet, no offer of change or thanks.

As I walked out of work tonight, Dan (from ep 7 Perfect Strangers), who lives in Sydney, walked past holding hands with a woman. I stopped dead in my tracks as they continued.
In those few seconds I looked at him, he looked at me, he looked away and on they went, into their evening.
Why do I feel agitated? It’s not like we’re an item. We’re mates that catch up occassionly, flirt, hold hands and don’t have s*x. 😏
