The planet that you live in, the city you house in, and the college that you're proud of, have all got testimonies of one kind or the other. IET's bit in this regard happens to be ABHYUDAY, the institute's very own magazine that you all can be proud pieces of.

Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam Technical University's Annual Fest, Pravah entered it's third and final day with great enthusiasm and rigor. Hosted by the Institute of Engineering and Technology, Lucknow the event has been a tough contest between teams participating from the 8 zones of Uttar Pradesh.
Starting with the Nukkad Naatak(Street Play) by IET Josh Team. Followed by Solo, Duet and Group Dance Competitions where participants vyed with each other for the coveted prizes. After this, Group MainPlay commenced wherein the teams presented mime acts that had an underlying message of patriotism and to eradicate social evils from the society.
The University had specially invited established personalities in their respective fields to evaluate the performances. The judges for MainPlay were Dr.Yogesh Praveen, Dr.Meenakshi Pawha and Mr.Lalit Singh. While the dance events were judged by Manjali Pandey and Mrs.Anupma Nandi.
As the evening set in, various StandUp Comic Artists entertained the audiences. This be told that, the fest took place in the newly constructed Auditorium at IET Campus. Then the institute saw a beautiful dance by the outgoing final year students. This was followed by the beautiful closing ceremony by the coordinating team showcasing the beautiful aspects of Uttar Pradesh, also the prize distribution began proceedings.
Supporting the grounds of Uttar Pradesh Tourism and Swachh Bharat, Pravah shall be etched in the memories of all visiting participants for a long time.

अब्दुल कलाम प्राविधिक विश्वविद्यालय के वार्षिक सांस्कृतिक महोत्सव 'प्रवाह' जिसका शुभारंभ रविवार को अभ्यांत्रिकी एवं प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान लखनऊ में माननीय मंत्री श्री आशुतोष टंडन जी एवं विश्विद्यालय की अन्य विभूतियों की उपस्तिथि में हुआ वह सोमवार को भी जारी रहा। प्रवाह का द्वितीय दिन भी रोमांचित करने वाला रहा। दिन का आरंभ संस्थान के रंगमंच दल IET जोश द्वारा सामाजिक मुद्दों क्रमशः चिकित्सा क्षेत्र में हो रहे भ्रष्टाचार एवं दफ्तरों में तरक्की के लिए तरफदारी करने पर दो नाट्य प्रस्तुत करके हुए। इनके पश्चात प्रदेश के आठों जोन्स से आये हुए टीमो ने अपने नृत्य कौशल का प्रदर्शन किया।
इनके बाद सिंगल ड्यूएट तथा ग्रुप गायन का आयोजन हुआ। इनमे विभिन्न संस्थानों से आये हुए प्रतिभागियों ने पाश्चात्य था भारतीय लोक गीतों दोनों की प्रस्तुति दी जिनमे 'मोरा पिया घर आया' ,'दमादम मस्त कलंदर','वंदे मातरम' प्रमुख थे।
कार्यक्रम में काव्य टीम 'soul within' ने भी अपनी प्रस्तुतियों से समां बांध दिया जिसमे सेलिब्रिटी यूटुबेर श्री मोनिस अहमद खान ने अपनी उर्दू की शायरियों , आयुष सिद्धार्थ गगन के बैंड ने अपनी वायलिन तथा कवियत्री केनाश्री ने दर्शको को मंत्रमुग्ध कर दिया। इनके बाद बैंड वार्स का भी आयोजन हुआ जिसमें आठो जोन्स की टीमो ने जबरदस्त प्रदर्शन किया। इसमे बैंड neptune ने शिव तांडव स्रोतम का प्रदर्शन करके दर्शको के रोंगटे खड़े कर दिए ।कार्यक्रम का समापन 'vogue' छात्रों के रैम्पवॉक से हुआ जिसमे प्रतिभागियों ने विभिन्न परिधानों का प्रदर्शन किया।
स्वच्छ भारत अरबन तथा उत्तर प्रदेश टूरिज्म द्वारा प्रायोजित यह कार्य क्रम एक और रोमांचक दिन का इंतज़ार कर रहा है।

Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam Technical University's annual cultural fest "PRAVAH" was inaugurated in Institute of Engineering and Technology, Lucknow along with the newly built auditorium.

On this auspicious occasion, Mr Ashutosh Tondon, cabinet minister in the state Government was present as the chief guest in the inauguration ceremony.

In the inauguration ceremony, Vice Chancellor AKTU , Prof. Vinay Pathak and Director Dr. H.K. Paliwal inspired the students with their motivating words and wished them the best for future.
In the event, students from various institutions presented cultural performances based on the cultural heritage of Uttar Pradesh. Especially the regional dance forms and music were a total stand out performances.

An art exhibition was also organised in the auditorium where the fine arts club(KALAKRITI) and Photography club (MIRAJ) showcased their talent and creativity through eye candy pictures.

Later in the evening, Rachit Srivastava and Jyoti Singh mesmerized the audience with their catchy Indian rap songs.The children of parmarth, "The Social club" also gave various performances.
