We want to start a new thing here , starting next week, and we need YOU to do it. So we ask all of our friends, customers, supporters etc to send in a one minute video for a new page feature called ALBUM SPOTLIGHT! YOU pick the Kivel title you want to be the album spotlight. In one 1 minute video hold up the album and tell us what you like about the album. Why you picked it and your fave track. Say ANYTHING you want in that 1 minute. Talk about anything regarding that album from songs, production, musicianship, song topics. If something inspired you are connected with you. We will post that video and give you a shout out.

ALSO every six months we will pick a random person out of all the video that will win a prize. (Prize still TBD)

So yesterday we announced that we welcome aboard a new talent to the Kivel Records stable. We couldn't be happier, as Gus Monsanto has been a longtime friend of the label going back 15 years!! There has always been a desire to work together in a larger capacity. The timing was just "right".

So, we are at the beginning of the end. 2024 that is, as we head into the last few months of the year. This is the time, where we reflect, appreciate and plan. The last few years for KIVEL RECORDS have been some of the most rewarding and productive years we have had in our 26-year span of business. We owe it ALL to you. So, thank you for partying with us and cranking our tunes. YOU keep us going.

Some updates and a little vague booking. HAH. This week we heard a mix (by the Masterful Ty Sims) from an upcoming 2025 release. We have to say, we are bursting at the seams to drop this one on you. All in due time though.

We have two new releases set to close out the year. Announcements will be made soon. So, sit tight!

As for 2025. Well, expect a lot of surprises. Of course, we will have some familiar faces but look out for some new faces and fresh talent joining the stable.

So, as we say goodbye to the SUMMER DAYS! Let's lean into the fall season and gear up to send 2024 packing with a bang. Because there is one thing you can always count on here. The only person we are looking to outdo, is ourselves!!! So, we promise to raise the bar a little high one more time for you.
