In less than twenty years we have reduced by 75% the photosynthesis capacity of marine algae, responsible for renewing the oxygen in the waters, and plankton has also begun to suffer the attack of pesticides and poisons, losing, therefore, therefore, a large part of their reproductive capacity.

As that plankton decreases in number, the fish that fed on it, and those that fed on those fish, decrease, and so the great chain weakens day by day.

How is it possible that such gigantic expanses of water, reaching ten thousand meters deep and occupying 70% of the planet's surface, cannot absorb and eliminate our waste?

The answer is simple: 90% of marine life is concentrated on continental shelves, at depths less than two hundred meters, which constitutes less than 10% of the area of the oceans and a much smaller amount of their total volume.

Let's be more aware when we enjoy our planet.

En menos de veinte años hemos reducido en un 75 % la capacidad de fotosíntesis de las algas marinas, encargadas de renovar el oxígeno de las aguas, y ya el plancton ha comenzado también a sufrir el ataque de los pesticidas y venenos, perdiendo, por lo tanto, gran parte de su capacidad reproductiva.

A medida que ese plancton disminuye en número, disminuyen los peces que se alimentaban de él, y los que se alimentaban de esos peces, y así la gran cadena se debilita día a día.

¿Cómo es posible que extensiones de agua tan gigantescas que alcanzan los diez mil metros de profundidad y ocupan el 70 % de la superficie del Planeta, no puedan absorber y eliminar nuestros desechos?

La respuesta es sencilla: El 90 % de la vida marina está concentrada en las plataformas continentales, a profundidades inferiores a los doscientos metros, lo que constituye menos del 10 % del área de los océanos y una cantidad muchísimo más pequeña aún de su volumen total.

Seamos más conscientes cuando disfrutemos de nuestro planeta.

A material as simple as the wood of the Bateas (Galician mussel farms) turns it into totally personalized furniture and with an authentic Atlantic spirit.

The process is completely handmade and sustainable, Frouma only uses natural products.

Brittany is one of the Celtic nations along with Scotland, Ireland, Wales, Cornwall, Isle of Man, Galicia and Asturias.

These last two, despite not having a Celtic language spoken in modern history, are already considered part of the Celtic nations due to the multiple connections and proven scientific evidence.
French Brittany, discovering the “Côte Ouest”

In an exhibition at the British Museum on Celtic identity, you can read “In continental Europe the modern Celtic identity only holds strong in Bretagne”.

The archaeologist Cunliffe says that the roots of the Celtic language are in the Atlantic and in the Neolithic, so the Atlantic identity that unites all these landscapes and cultures makes a lot of sense.

Bretaña es una de las naciones celtas junto a Escocia, Irlanda, Gales, Cornualles, Isla de Man, Galicia y Asturias. Estas dos últimas a pesar de no tener legua celta hablada en la historia moderna, se consideran ya parte de las naciones celtas por las múltiples conexiones y evidencias científicas demostradas.

En una exposición en el British Museum sobre la identidad Celta, se podía leer “En la Europa continental la identidad celta moderna solo se mantiene con fuerza en Bretaña”

El arqueólogo Cunliffe cuenta que las raíces de la lengua celta está en el Atlántico y en el Neolítico, así que tiene mucho sentido la identidad Atlántica que une todos estos paisajes y culturas.

Last September we spoke with Montse Vicens from about how our movement began.

Although Montse is in Barcelona, her soul is Atlantic.

Her connection with the Atlantic goes back a long way, when she was still a child and she traveled with her family to Galicia.

Today this connection still exists and she knew how to take it further by creating authentically Atlantic projects, paying attention to every detail and of course taking into account the people who were behind it.

She is an Interior Designer by training and with extensive experience in the world of Branding. She tells us about her experience creating unique projects and always focusing on details and people.

El pasado Septiembre hablamos con Montse Vicens de sobre cómo comenzó nuestro movimiento .

Aunque Montse está en Barcelona su alma es Atlántica.

Su conexión con el Atlántico viene de lejos, cuando aún era una niña y viajaba con su familia a Galicia. Neboa Concept represents and markets a Atlantic selection of independent hotels and lodges across the Atlantic Coast. Néboa Concept is more than hotels, is a new way to share the Atlantic Culture across the world.

Each hotel takes great care of the details of their accommodation. His passion for hospitality, authenticity, design and architecture. In each of them we have the Atlantic culture in its DNA for what is seen in the experience it offers in its hotels.

Néboa Concept as an Atlantic style brand, offers its members of the Atlantic community of the Tourism sector, marketing consulting services, personalized B2B services such a sales launches, branding, commercial support and others.

Founded by Elena Coello in 2006. In this year Néboa Concept created the first accommodation with Estilo Atlántico in Vigo.
