Colin Wylie & Hinterlandband have been looking forward to sharing this song with you.

This recording is a musical composition based on the 17th Century French Christmas carol 'Un flambeau, Jeannette, Isabelle', translated, 'Bring a Torch Jeanette Isabella'.

Performed as an endearing male & female holiday duet, backed by a lovely, lilting arrangement composed of stand-up bass, steel guitar, dobro, banjo, piano, guitars, & chorale, all performed by Colin Wylie and Hinterlandband.

His previous release 'Six Months in a Leaky' Colin Wylie (2020) is still sailing, with consistent rotation and adds by Music Directors, Programmers & Supervisors around the world.

Colin Wylie is known for his work with Blinker the Star, a Canadian indie band that signed with A&M (USA) and then DreamWorks barely out of their teens.

Then came the ‘Hinterlandband’ project, whose compositions have been placed in programming for Muchmusic (CAN), NBC (USA), CTV (CAN), MTV (US & UK), Fox (USA), CBC (CAN), The CW Network (USA) and PBS (USA).

Canadian made Traynor gear from this era has become heavily sought after globally

This is especially true for the original late 60s Traynor YVM-1 Voice Master - purchased from it’s original owner

This 1960's Traynor Voice Master YVM-1 tube amplifier head in excellent condition and in perfect working order.

Can run clean or it breaks up beautifully for dirty guitar / bass … or whatever

Unique four channel design with dedicated Volume controls for each input as well as a global EQ and Master Volume control

Although labelled as a Public Address (PA) vocal head - its principle purpose has become for instruments as they sound fantastic(such as a bevy of vintage keyboards) or simply a single guitar or bass, providing a bold, clean power amp that works well with effects pedals.

The amp retains all of its original k***s, with smooth black tolex and silver grillcloth.

The head shows some minor scuffing and wear around the corners of the enclosure, but no serious wear of any kind.

Traynor reverb master YRM-1 (70s)

One of the many heavily sought after Traynor tube amps of this era, purchased from original owner - it’s been well loved and taken care of

some ‘folk art’ inscribed on the Tolex in dedication to family gives it history and character… but dont let that dissuade you … it’s in excellent playing condition and these models are rare to find in this condition

Its clean tones are amazing, but you can get some great dirty tones as well.

Built like a tank, Reverb sounds fantastic, do not have the foot switch for Tremolo but it functions and sounds great.
