A small homage to the art of writing, journaling, note-taking, and stationary featuring my all-time favorite Field Notes edition "Vintage". ✒️📔 I've always been drawn (ha) to pen and paper, especially fountain-pens and a nice, quality notebook with a weakness for the leather variety. There’s something inherently special about cinema lenses. They often create a more “cinematic” image that a lot of filmmakers are after. Cine lenses are also built like tanks, usually! They can get a little pricey, though. However, companies like SIRUI Imaging are making progress in bringing cine lenses to the more low-budget consumers! This year I plan to change-up my content strategy by posting LESS often. This may sound counterintuitive, but hear me out. Creating a piece of content every day last year was a fun challenge to take-on, and it yielded a TON of content for my portfolio. However, because of the time constraint behind making each video, the quality suffered. I’m glad I did that back in 2024, but 2025 will be different. I want to create higher quality videos, which inevitably means they will take a bit longer to plan, film, edit, and publish. I think this will be a fair trade-off, though. I’d rather have a smaller library of really high quality videos than a larger library filled with mediocre and mid videos.
