Have you seen the Baby Dove advertisement about breastfeeding? What’s your view?

Skincare brand Baby Dove has been criticised by many mums who feel the new adverts support those who oppose breastfeeding in public in a negative way.

One advert says "75% say breastfeeding in public is fine, 25% say put them away. What's your way?"

There was 151 complaints received by The Advertising Standards Authority. Many Mums say that it normalises anti-breastfeeding views and encourages hostility towards breastfeeding mothers.

Significant damage has been caused to a World War 1 memorial situated in St. Eunan's Cathedral Car Park.

The feature was erected by the Letterkenny Heritage Community in 2014 with the stone structure discovered smashed yesterday.

It's the latest incident in recent times with a statue at the Market Square damaged last week.

Local historian Kieran Kelly says that its ironic that this has been damaged on the anniversary of the death of a Letterkenny man in World War 1, its of vital importance to the history of Letterkenny.

Should parents be punished for children's lack of attendance at school.

Rita O Reilly from Parentline discusses the importance of making sure your children have a high record attendance at school on an annual basis. She says they achieve better results academically and socially.

This follows a case of a man in Donegal who could spend up to two weeks in jail due to his daughter’s poor school attendance record.
The girl’s mother also faces a fine of €500 after a court heard their teenage daughter missed 164 of the 167 days of the school year.
The couple appeared at Letterkenny District Court charged with failing to ensure she attended school under the Education and Welfare Act.
