Planet Human was co-founded in February 2012 by two visionary American DJ/producer/label head legends: Dieselboy aka Damian Higgins, the face of and driving force for the American drum 'n' bass and underground bass music movements for over two decades, and Smash Gordon aka Steve Gordon, who as promoter of Steez Promo productions and agent for Circle Talent Agency has been a major player in Americ

an electronic dance music entertainment history. Planet Human has two sub-labels: Human Imprint for drum 'n' bass, and SubHuman for dubstep, electro and other evolving bass forms. Human Imprint was originally established by Dieselboy in 2002 as the drum 'n' bass sub-label of System Recordings before it amicably departed to become an independent label in 2009. Smash Gordon teamed up with Dieselboy in 2010 as co-owner of Human and co-founder of SubHuman, a sub-label created for dubstep and electro releases. The vision for Human and SubHuman has always been about pushing its genres forward with the finest, most thrilling state-of-the-art dance floor terminators. OMEN - The Void EP

Presenting another collection of futuristic pressure from the Bay Area’s drum and bass technician Omen! Starting things off is the IMAX level / widescreen sonic range of “The Void” with it’ massive cinematic intro, churning low end and surgical future funk beats. Truly epic sound design really pulls this track together to form something very special. Following is the cybernetic step of “Wither” which continues the audio assault with high grade sound design and a super punchy drum and bass workout. Rounding out the EP is “Glass Dunes” with a compelling synth lead intro that morphs into an extremely clean roller with crisp percussion, tight edits and classic neuro dnb vibes. Once again Omen has delivered a tasty soundtrack from the far flung future.

The Bay Area's very own DNB wunderkind OMEN comes correct with two future forward heaters for Dieselboy's classic American drum and bass label Human Imprint!

First on deck is the steppy "Bend" with an extra crispy drum workout, thoroughly dubbed out vocal stabs and a gut rearranging slab of impressive low end destruction. "Arrival" is an entirely different sort of vibe with clinical breaks, glacial synth work and haunting vocals. Melancholy android dreamscapes from a far flung future.

'U Know' is a thundering filthy monster of deep and dark warehouse vibes. 100% guaranteed mayhem on the drop, this tune was the reason I decided to restart the label. ABSOLUTE HEAVINESS!

'2609' steers things in a decidedly different direction. Rich future funk vibes that recall some of Halogenix's finer moments, this one is for the extra extra late night sessions. Head-nodding warmth ad infinitum...
