Introducing Laura: the logical thinker of the Pod 🧠

You won't find any horror flicks on my list of go-to quotable movies. I stick to mostly the feel-good movies from growing up: My Cousin Vinny, A League of Their Own, Goonies, Sandlot, Three Musketeers (1993 version), Now and Then.

I'm going to say Ursula is my favorite Disney villain. Hook and Yzma were in the running, but Ursula has a song! As for my favorite horror movie victim, I'm going with Ethan Hawke in Sinister. Eff that guy. Was not upset to see him bite it before the sequel. I'd put S***t Ulrich in Scream on that list for the same reason. While we're at it, S***t Ulrich in The Craft for the same reason too! Don't come for me - his name is S***t. This is his lot in life.

Every personality test I take gives me consistent results: logical, perfectionist, semi-bossy, introvert. For Myers-Briggs, I’m an INTJ-T, the architect/mastermind. For the DiSC assessment, I’m a Cd. For the Harry Potter houses…well I kept getting either Ravenclaw or Slytherin and the sorting hat finally made me pick one so I’m Ravenclaw. With a hint of Slytherin 🐍

A: Wait…I wasn’t born with this name?? It means Young Warrior. That’s me. Hogan. I’m the warrior. [Laura’s note: it’s an Irish family name. No one tell her she was Abby when I adopted her…]

Q: Who needs your services most during scary movie watches?
A: My mama needs alllll the emotional support. I get all settled in, she jumps, I support, repeat.

Q: When you’re not on active duty, how do you spend your time?
A: Protect the home from intruders like Uber Eats delivery drivers and wind. Practice my fierce barks. Dog park!!! Walks. Not in rain. Rain is stupid. Chase other pups. Claim new blankets as mine. Eat all the treats. Sleep. I love sleeps.

A: Toby from the Great Mouse Detective!!

Introducing Kelly: the whimsical dreamer of the Pod 💫

My go-to quotable movies vary drastically from classics like Back to the Future and Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure to animated hits like Finding Nemo and The Emperor's New Groove to feel-good sports flicks like Major League II (arguably better than the first), Field of Dreams, and Angels in the Outfield.

My favorite Disney villain is Maleficent (the 1959 version) but I have to admit that Dr. Facilier is terrifying - I can't be the only one who thinks so!! And my favorite horror movie victim is Glen (aka young Johnny Depp) in Nightmare on Elm Street, a personal fave!

My personality type is INFJ-T (the Advocate), I'm an Enneagram 2, and my Hogwarts house is Hufflepuff 🦡💛
