This was one of my favourite party's I've played in Holland. Good fun all night and an amazing line-up.

I kicked off my set wearing a Scotland football top. Halfway through I took that off and put on a Holland shirt. Great reaction from the crowd.

The annual big 'Summer Sensation' party made its way to Leicester University fr the 4th edition.

The previous night I was playing in Manchester, so arranged to meet Newcastle mates Emma, Stereo Mike & Mossie at a train station somewhere on the way. I think it might of been York. I arrived sometime in the afternoon and we headed off to Leicester in search of the hotel. The SatNav took us to a dodgy looking holiday shop in the middle of nowhere, instead of the hotel, doh!

This was a top night in a great venue. Andy Vortex booked me to play back 2 back with Dutch pal The Vizitor, as he thought it would look funny. A big Stone Cold Steve Austin lookalike next to Jimmy Somerville with a beer belly. We played pretty late into the night/morning and the set was enjoyable.

I was still slightly hungover from the night before, so the drunken Boony had to be the entertainment for the night. Which included: spilling a pint of diesel (snakebite & blackcurrant) over Gammer's mother, being sick (or spilling more beer) on Scorpio's shoes and various other things that can't be repeated.

Fun filled capers.

This was one of my all time favourite performances in Holland, as I had a 90 minute set and could experiment with more industrial sounds alongside the gimmicky-fun-stuff I usually played.

Each DJ had extended sets, so it was a lot more fun for them too.

There was a pretty wild afterpaty in legendary Pitt Street afterwards and then I ended up in Middlesbrough.

United Hardcore Forces - The Outdoor Festival

What a party this was! Italy has some beautiful venues .. Number One and Discoteca Florida. In the summer months, Florida opens the massive outdoor area for a number of huge events.

The outdoor mainstage is huge and a good few thousand people always fill it. At the other end of the outdoor area was the oldskool area, next to a couple of fountains that always make me want a p*e when I've played in that area. The Frenchcore/Industrial area was inside this time, which is where the mainstage area is foir the indoor party's, so it was cool to play in that room for the first time.

Great time at the party. Marc Acardipane was the highlight for me and I enjoyed jumping about to his set with the Ultimate MC.

Boozing back at the hotel was a lot of fun with Noize Suppressor & The Peacock. After a couple of hours sleep I woke up still drunk and had a sambuca for breakfast, which sent me more drunkererere. Endymion had been playing at another party and were on the flight back to Amsterdam and I was sitting next to Sebastain & one of there friends. I accidental split my glass of wine on there mate's leg, which he wasn't too happy about. hehe.

Loved this party in the mad city of Aberdeen. The music was a mixture of house, techno, happy hardcore and me playing at the end. I started off with mainstream gabber into Frenchcore, which worked pretty well and got people dancing to stuff they had never heard of before. Result !

Currently going thru all my / trax in Rekordbox and adding them to my 'Weapons'.

Weapons are playlists I've created of my favourite trax from each genres.

Damn, shranz was great. I started playing hardtechno & schranz sets around 2010 and had a lot of bookings around Newcastle & Scotland, playing this different style of music to people who've never heard it before, at hardcore events with mixed genres.

It's such a fun style to mix, as you can do 2 minute mixes with the intro's and outros, and have a right good mess about with the crossfader, unlike today when 'extended' mixes have a 10 second intro & outro, because the art of DJ'ing is lost on the new breed.

Anyway, once this playlist is fully populated, I'll ask Viktor Van Stroomf if he would like to do some live streams

Judgement Day - 15th Anniversary

With a resurgence of the North East rave scene and a new generation of party people, this was the perfect time to bring Judgement Day back home to the Newcastle University Student's Union basement. Big plans were being made behind the scene's and monthly dates were booked in at the Uni including under 18's events. I had D-Passion & Endymion booked for September & October respectively. However, things didn't quite go to plan....

As I've mentioned in other , Judgement Day came to an end in Newcastle in 1999 because of trouble's caused by young 16/17 yr old charvers mugging people outside the venue and smashing there way into the venue via fire exits amongst other things. 17 years on and the Judgement Day name was still tarnished and the University weren't so keen on hosting the event. They were charging for extra security and the police got involved at the last minute also wanting ridiculous money to police the event. A couple of days before the event it was almost cancelled because the running costs were far too expensive. Fair play to Mikey B & Bass Generator for going ahead with it.

The event was pretty good. It was before the recent refurbishment of the Uni, so the main room was bigger, the side room (which is now offices) was the Hardstyle room and we were back in the gabba toilet. Yay ! Catscan played in the smallest room he'd ever seen but loved it. Sonic Overkill/The Noize Junkie/Industrial Terror Squad is one of my alltime favourite sp*edcore artists and his closing set was amazing.

There were around 800 people in, which wasn't enough to cover costs and because of all the hassle, the other events were sadly cancelled and this was the final nail in the coffin for Judgement Day :(

In the later months of 2008, Bass Generator & Mikey B took control of Judgement Day again in an attempt to resurrect it. During this time we made many car journey's up & down to various places in Scotland. Often the car journeys were more fun that the party's. hehe.

This was one of the fun party's, in a small venue in the centre of Falkirk. The majority of the music was bad hardstyle (hehe) and oldskool, so I was booked to play a mainstream gabber set back 2 back with another Newcastle lad, Lost Origin. He has done well with himself in Europe and signed to The Third Movement. He didn't 'DJ' and only played a laptop, so the b2b was a challenge. Not see wee Andy, played 3 trax from his laptop, then I played 3 and so on. Halfway through the set he disappeared and never came back ! It turned out he fell asleep in the toilet, haha. Rock n roll.

This was right in the middle of Judgement Day's hey hye hey day, with sell out shows almost every month.

The only annoying thing about Judgement Day's were the MC's in the gabba room. Loads of them yelling nonsense over the mic and really contributing anything to the music. This was the first one where all MC's were barred. Yes !

Special guest was Loftgroover, who wasn't too happy that I left him in Stoke the night before, instead of getting him to come back in the car. hehe.
