I’ve decided to change the direction of The McAllister Hours. I will no longer be seeking new guests.

In the past I’ve tried to keep the show as something of an open platform for artists or whoever else. However, this quickly turned into the feeling of being used for other’s gain. So I then decided to charge those who wanted to come on, which then created a vaccum as where anyone that had money could basically come on.

I’m stepping away from all that. I may have a guest on from time to time, and we still have a few interviews lined up. But for the most part this is going to be me saying what I want to say and that’s all there is to it. Call it pointless rambling if you want, but I’m done debating low-hanging fruit arguments about religion, drug legalization, or whatever else.

Maybe this is me being a recluse, or giving up on the world, or whatever. But I’m just not interested in it anymore. I have two brand new podcasts that I recently started, including Unhinged & Uncensored and Guts N’ Gore Podcast, and I’ve decided to focus more in house.

As my wonderful partner Molly once said to me, focus on maintaining your garden. Keep the weeds out. And that’s what I’m doing.
