So, in case you were wondering, Purods is a merger of two words, 'pukka' which means authentic and 'words' which means words! ( so purods = authentic words) lol, I know, it's pretty ridiculous but I think it's cool. It's because writing is compulsive for me. I'm not a born writer. I just write because I need to get out all the emotions and thoughts that constantly fill my mind. It's therapeutic fo
r me. I'm temperamentally very melancholic so when I have a lot on my mind, I feel bouts of depression. (This might be TMI, but hey this blog is supposed to be authentic). Now this blog is going to be in fiction mostly because I'm not really good at writing in nonfiction/ first person styles. Also because I like to separate myself from what is going on in what I write, it's the therapy thing. Lastly, I'd like honest opinions from you and I have a feeling that as we get to know each other your opinions might get more subjective if I attempt to write in non-fiction/first person styles so Fiction is good!! There are three sections of the blog. They contain various issues that flood my mind on a daily basis. Reads: The content for this section would be fictional pieces on social issues, particularly in Ghana. Analogies:These writing pieces are about musings of life. They are metaphorical representations of different things happening in my life and around me. Fiction on illustrations: (My personal favorite!!) I included this section because I love illustrations a lot. When I see illustrations, I see stories of beautiful people . So in this section, I hope to share what I see in illustrations that I love.(it's really just an excuse to write more fiction)
