“Wrunken was walled-in until she suffocated to death. She then went to be with Jesus.”

The 1500’s were a complicated, yet revolutionary time. Nations were expanding and technology was advancing. With that came a lot of religious persecution.

Kingdoms and nations utilized various methods of torture and ex*****on. One of these was “Execution by Suffocation”.

At some point in the late 1500’s, a young maidservant by the name of Wrunken was found with a Bible. After refusing to rebuke the name of Jesus, she was executed by slowly enclosing her body in a wall. Brick by brick until she could no longer catch her breath. Wrunken was walled-in until she suffocated to death. She then went to be with Jesus.

"...With a sword in his face, Roy said: 'I am a Solider of Christ.'"

This is the story of Roy Pontoh.

Roy was guilty of nothing but being a kid at a Christian bible camp. But when a terrorist mob attacked the camp, Roy's faith would be put to the test. With a sword in his face, Roy said "I am a Solider of Christ."

“Ivan’s parents were told that Ivan died of an accident drowning, but they weren’t taking that for an answer…”

Ivan Moiseyev was last seen riding off with a car full of KGB officers. It was the last time he would be seen alive.

Not too long after, Ivan’s body arrived at the door step of his parents house. He arrived in a metal coffin that had been welded shut. Ivan’s parents were told that Ivan died of an accident drowning, but they weren’t taking that for an answer…

When Ivan’s family opened the coffin they found something awful and vile inside.

Although Ivan’s story ends in a sad, abrupt, and rather brutal way. It also ends with an incredible victory.

Ivan’s story is incredible and inspiring to say the least.

In this episode I tell the story of Ivan V. Moiseyev, a 20 year old soldier in the Soviet Union who was brutally tortured and killed for being a Christian while serving in the military.

The stories we tell on this podcast are brutal in nature and intended to depict the true, and historically correct account of each martyr.
