Are you a of children ages 5-9, an or a director? Are you a , or a provider for young children?

Do you think teaching children about things such as kindness, confidence, leadership and integrity are important to teach in their formative stage of life? Do you think showing children diversity and empowering them is important?

If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, first I’d like to say thank you for any role you may have that supports children and the next generation, and I’d like to invite you to learn more about resources I specifically created for children.

The characters and videos I created for children focus on diversity, empowerment and teaching kids about specific qualities and values. My goal is to reach parents and those in a professional capacity who support children as well.

Being an certainly isn’t easy, especially while maintaining a busy full-time job! In hindsight, I’m very proud of my accomplishments while doing that.

As we enter ,
I’m also thinking of my own history and goals I’ve accomplished in the past decade including:

✅ Writing and publishing a children’s book

✅ Becoming a certified wellness practitioner and conducting sessions to help others

✅ Securing media features for my business and contributing articles to publications

✅ Producing and hosting a television show

✅ Working with clients to help with marketing and public relations/media features

✅ Starting a blog and podcast

✅ Writing a 250 page book about women in business

✅ Writing lyrics for a song

✅ Writing and professionally recording three audio guides

✅ Creating social media content including posts and promotional videos

✅ Creating a line of inspirational apparel for women

✅ Creating female superhero characters and educational videos for children

If you ever have a dream and think there’s no way you can accomplish your goal, realize that it’s definitely achievable. 💫

I had no idea all of these projects and passions would come into my life. I basically spent a decade on these, and personally and professionally I feel accomplished and simply grateful. 🙏🏻❤️

Is it hard work? Unbelievably hard work!

Does it take lots of time and financial resources? Absolutely!!

Are there days where I was down and doubtful? Of course!!

Is it still challenging on certain days? For sure!!

Is there joy in fulfilling your goals? Everyday!

I’m thrilled to announce that my most recent project is now available on a new platform and something to consider if you’re a parent, grandparent or know someone who has elementary-aged children or teaches elementary-aged children.

Part of the mission with The She Shift is to not only empower women, but the next generation as well. With that goal, The She Shift created an original line of female superhero characters and educational videos for elementary-aged children that promote diversity, empowerment and positive mental and physical well-being.

October is an important month to me as it’s Breast Cancer Awareness month. I’m the daughter, niece and granddaughter of breast cancer survivors. It’s important to me to create awareness and encourage others to be cognizant about self-exams, annual checkups and the importance of early detection.

This year, I’m collaborating with a great Breast Cancer organization on a fundraiser. They’re dedicated to breast cancer research, education and assisting the underserved.

The She Shift is donating 20% of sales on products and services for the month of October, to Breast Cancer Alliance.

The mission of Breast Cancer Alliance is to improve survival rates and quality of life for those impacted by breast cancer through better prevention, early detection, treatment and cure. To promote these goals, they invest in innovative research, breast surgery fellowships, education, dignified support and regional screenings for the underserved.

They are a 501(c)(3) charity with a 4-star rating on Charity Navigator and Platinum rating on Guidestar/Candid.

The She Shift created educational videos for elementary-aged children that feature the characters, a lesson around what they represent and an activity. The goal with these videos and characters is to provide these positive resources to parents, teachers, organizations and companies.
