4:55 - This section is on the “forgotten fluids” in your car, specifically, the differential. This uses thick fluid and can be thousands of dollars to repair if you don't change the fluid when recommended. No matter how clean it looks, you want to change it.

10:01 - If your car has 4-wheel drive, you have two differentials — one going to the rear and one going to the front. Steve recommends changing them at the same time.

5:15 - Steve and Felecia recount their experience with their first true travel since the pandemic. JetBlue didn’t mess around requiring masks, and you have to be extra patient.

8:30 - What do you need to know about car repairs if you drive for companies like Uber, Lyft or Instacart? It impacts how often you need repairs. For example, you’re stopping more frequently so you need to service your brakes more frequently. If automotive dealerships find out you work for one of these organizations, they may waive your warranty - deny your claim. But, you can typically solve this by buying an extra addendum.

13:25 - Steve is seeing an increase in car repairs because folks are avoiding buying new cars. If you’ve been avoiding repairs and waiting on new cars to come in at a better price, don’t wait! Get your car fixed.

15:56 - Is it bad to run your car down to empty on gas? If you go too low, your gas pump can overheat and Steve does not recommend it.

29:20 - Felecia reminds us of the most important things to consider when trying to drive safe - drive slow, wear your seatbelt, avoid the no-zone around trucks, take breaks on long drives, don’t rush if you are close to missing a turn, drive defensively, don’t text and drive, and don’t drive under the influence.

37:14 - Felecia updates us on the Arizona housing market. They expect interest rates to climb a bit, but housing prices aren’t going to go down for at least a year. The rate of increase, however, is slowing.

42:22 - When you want to move and realize that you are going to have to buy a new house that is more expensive, there are lots of ways you can improve your existing home to make it more palatable to stay in your current home. It’s a great time to do landscaping so in 2-3 years your house will be even easier to sell.
