Feeling overwhelmed right now?

Somehow this year doesn’t feel like the slower pace of Summer we’re used to. It feels busy. It feels fast. It sometimes feels like too much.

If we’re not careful overwhelm has a sneaky way of taking over and descending our day into muddyness and lack of clarity, from which we can be creative and productive.

So if this is you today. Stop, take a breath, put your feet firmly on the ground and say these 3 things you feel calmer:

I am safe in this moment

Reassuring yourself about your present safety can help reduce anxiety and bring your focus back to the present.

I can handle this, one step at a time

Breaking down overwhelming thoughts into manageable steps can help you feel more in control and less anxious.

I release what I cannot control

Letting go of concerns beyond your control can provide a sense of relief and clarity.

Hypnosis is a state of focused attention, heightened
suggestibility, and deep relaxation.

It is often depicted in popular culture as a mystical or
magical state where individuals lose control of their
actions.

However, in reality, hypnosis is a natural state of mind
that can be used therapeutically to promote positive
changes in behavior, thoughts, and emotions.

Hypnosis involves a shift in brain activity,
where the conscious mind becomes less
dominant, and the unconscious mind becomes
more receptive to suggestions.

This state is often compared to daydreaming or
being engrossed in a book or movie. During
hypnosis, individuals are not asleep but are in
a state of deep relaxation and focused
concentration.

I am a great believer in the power of the voice, and with the right natural frequency and resonance, the unconscious mind can become its most receptive and open to create life changing transformation! 💚✨

Not working…

Just growing 😍💚

I love books…I get so excited about the next insightful non-fiction self-help book that I’ve discovered or been recommended to read.

Bring it on! “Amazon…ooh eBay secondhand ones at a bargain. This it it…I’m going to learn so much to add to my toolkit to help others with. “

So I sit down to read the first chapter. If I’m really in the mood I can do 2 or even 3 chapters.

Then I leave it for a day or two, which turns into a week..and then another and another. Eventually the book I was so excited about joins the already over crowded book shelves?! UNFINISHED, UNREAD. (Until I go back a year or so later and wonder if I should revisit it)

I so easily lose focus and concentration on one thing, whether it’s reading, tasks, and I have to move on to the next and the next and the next.

Do you know what I mean?

So I’ve decided to go at reading differently. I take time out, treat myself to a drink and a read for a couple of hours in different surroundings.

The result : I turn a stack more pages, I retain more, I can concentrate much better,
and it feels really nice 😍
This new habit could even turn me into a proper bookworm!

My best friend and I helped to save a woman’s life yesterday.

To be clear, this is not a hero piece in any way.

It was one of those surreal situations that happened so quickly that we both sat in silence afterwards, trying to comprehend how our afternoon plan took such a dramatic turn.

But I looked at my bestie and in that moment not only was I super proud of her, (I’m pretty proud of her already) - but there was pride in who we are when we come together as a team..aligned values, strong, conscious, non-judgmental - what an achievement to have in life!

We all deserve to have that and to appreciate it. We met 33 years ago - when life was purely about dancing and belly laughs. Who knew years later we would still be cheering each other on, taking it in turn to prop one another up as we figure out all this life stuff.
