Born July 27, 1987 in Memphis, TN to the Parents of, Emma M. Shaw and Robert Earl Jackson. RJ has three other siblings as well. He started his musical career at the age of 15, at his Mother (Emma Shaw) home church "First Baptist Church," in Millington, TN and spoke with the choir director to place him in the youth choir. ssional touring choir Rj left to venture out on his own and began his own record company, "LaStarr Records," which caters to Hip Hop & R&B music.Rj signed his first artist, "Lexx G". From there they produced severals hits like Sorry Beauitful, Oohwee, and Back to my Place. Throughout the years, Rj toured Europe where he made his mark in the music business. In Europe he was a well known Dj in the European club scene working with acts such as DJ Hollywood, DJ Gangy, Dj Dollar Bill, Major Movez Ent, and many more. Rj was a promoter for Calico Jonez CEO/Founder of StreetzonLock/SwishGang/BMF/SODMG where he broke Calico Jonez international with his hit singleFade Away ft SouljaBoyTellEm and Remix with Lil Speedie. From that situation Rj became the President of A&R Department with Glamourocke/UMG. After that Rj started another indie record label, SplashGang, LLC. where he signed a digital distribution deal with, Island Def Jam and drew alot of attention on the street with his first stateside single, Bout Money ft Jason Hall . In 2011 Rj signed a Management Artist Development Deal with Palm Tree Entertainmem/SODMG's John T. Brown.
