DITZY ME, CONFESSION: I've been totally out of the loop for the past few weeks. It's been super busy!!

PART 1: WHAT ECLIPSE?

Several of my friends mentioned the solar eclipse in passing last week. But no one elaborated on WHEN or WHERE it was going down. I didn't ask. I mean I was pre-occupied!

So Monday afternoon, Alveria Mitchell text me asking if I saw the eclipse.

Me: When is the eclipse
Her: Uhhhh, it started at 2:15
Me: Today??!!!
Her: Uhhh, yeah... you missed it friend (the time was 3:30pm)
Me: WHAT?!!

****rushes outside looking up at the sky
Me: I don't see SH*T (shading my eyes with my hand and peering into the sun like a dummy -- lmao)
Her: *silence*

PART TWO: The Glasses

I hang up the phone and call Rhonda Wright Stewart
Me: Can you see the eclipse from your house?
Her: Yes, Sauyer has been looking at it since it started.
Me: I can't see ANYTHING over here!
Her: You got your glasses on??
Me: I wear my glasses all the time (referring to my teal colored Karl Lagerfeld designer glasses with Transitions lenses -- yes, my REAL eyeglasses)
