Watching Bad Sport on Netflix. This episode is on point shaving in college hoops. College kids got paid $40K to control the win margin, which was lit for a kid from the hood at that age. Meanwhile, the orchestrator/bettor turned $50K into over $2 mil for the same 2 games.

I'm over here working on my next job, negotiating a few thousand dollars of difference out of a company making multi millions, because that little salary is a big deal to what I've been told I'm able to make after all these years of school.

Two main points. 1) Perspective is crazy, especially when you believe the consensus("be happy with.." blah blah blah). 2) These days, I try to learn about the people who have the means to pay out six figure salaries. Or even athlete contracts. Not to hate or lambast the successful, but to soak knowledge.
