On a September Saturday.

Rain's embrace, the earthy scent,
it gently fell upon the brown-leafed oak,
till branches swayed,
a steadfast sentinel of the ages,
a witness to a thousand stories,
a shelter for lovers and the lost.

In stillness draped,
the world beyond rested in calm repose,
cocooned in the placid rhythm,
the solace of the soft rain.

Within, an aged desk by the opened window,
ink-stained and scuffed, where tales were born,
Alice held her fountain pen, her soul's key.

The soft patter of the breeze,
her soothing score,
leaves whispered,
in moments when the world withdrew.

The fountain began to flow,
with every stroke,
her pen danced
a tale took flight,
worlds began to grow,
in this rainy, September dream,
leaves whispered her heart's intent.

Lost in creation's sweet embrace,
nature's rhythms set the pace,
capturing the oak, the girl, the twilight.

Hours ebbed as day turned dark,
through woven words, she painted scenes,
September's magic in her dreams.

Some tips on vase life -

Chrysal Professional Flower food - mixed exactly to the manufactures direction- measure exactly- use cold water - no warm or hot water and cut the stem at an 45 degree angle - place immediately into the vase filled with the Chrysal 3 food formula- coat the flower front and back with an antitranspirant I suggest Chrysal Professional Glory- keep out of direct sun - top off the vase daily with additional flower food water! Chrysal Flower Food

Also pick in the early morning just before sun rise and take a bucket of the cold water flower food solution to the garden with you!

Never use Hot or Warm water

NEVER dip the stem in boiling water- ugh stupid idea!

Always use the flower food and measure exactly!

Garlic Butter Grilled Steak & Shrimp 🥰🥰🥰
Ingredients:
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided
- 4 cloves garlic, (or 1 tablespoon minced garlic)
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 New York Steak strip steaks (Porterhouse steaks)
Salt and pepper
- 8 ounces (250 g) shrimp deveined, tails on or off
