Words are magic.

They pour from our wand-shaped pens like tiny threads of starlight, forming entire worlds on pieces of paper.

They conjure up people and places inside of our heads and charm us into falling in love.
They have the power to change our opinions and transform the way we think.

Words can summon joy and sadness and anger. They let us fly, let us dream, let us realise the impossible. They can make people live forever and adventures last a lifetime.

Yes, they charm us and change us, enchant us and enrage us; make us laugh, make us sob, make us remember and help us forget. All without leaving the page.

So I truly believe it: words have power.
They are magic.

That’s why we spell them.
