I’m going to notify the IRS about my concept of a plan to file on time next year. Wish me luck!

You'll get through..."

Recently, my curiosity peaked about Stoicism... Upon research, I discovered that I had already embraced some of the concepts of this ancient philosophy, but I knew very little about it. My fascination has only increased with more knowledge. Here is what I have found:
Stoicism: A Philosophy of Virtue and Resilience

Stoicism is an ancient philosophy that emphasizes virtue, logic, and self-control as a path to happiness and wisdom. It originated in Athens around 300 BCE and flourished during the Roman Empire. Stoics believe that external events are largely out of our control, but our reactions to them are within our power. By focusing on cultivating inner strength and virtue, individuals can achieve peace of mind and resilience in the face of adversity.

Key Principles of Stoicism

Virtue is the only good: Stoics believe that true happiness and fulfillment come from cultivating virtues such as wisdom, courage, justice, and temperance.
Acceptance of fate: The Stoics believed that everything happens for a reason, and that trying to control external circumstances is futile. Instead, they focused on accepting what is and making the best of it.
Living in accordance with nature: Stoics believed that humans should live in harmony with the natural order of the universe. This includes understanding one's role in the world and fulfilling one's duties.
Practicing negative visualization: This technique involves imagining the worst-case scenario to help appreciate what one has and to develop resilience.
Focus on the present moment: Stoics emphasized living in the present and avoiding dwelling on the past or worrying about the future.

Those of you tagging everyone in your Group by typing @ everyone and thinking that's cool:
It's not.
Stop it.
There's enough nonsense to annoy everyone here as it is.
That is all. 🤠

Let's ride.

Facebook is sliding further and further into being Farce-book as the algoreyriddim is feeding me all kinds of nonsense that I care very little about. I'll stick around to make fun of it and interact with friends here but really, isn't this thing a mess?!?
The algorithm must think I am bored and fall easily for clickbait. 🤠😲😲😲😜😁

How's your Friday going?
