Thank so much to Jacqson Diego and everyone who came down to welcome the year of the rat with us yesterday afternoon! It was great fun and it looks like we will be returning so watch this space as they say.

We had an amazing time this afternoon with the fantastic Emma from Crayon Rock Music!
The children (and grownups!) got to try out Chinese instruments, learnt the story of the Chinese zodiac and tried on the dragon costume. We also had story time, and the children got to take a book home with them.
We hope to be working with Emma again very soon, and we’ll let you know dates as soon as we have them!

Join us for a musical story time party on Sunday 26th January at 2pm.
We are thrilled to be working with Emma Reed, from Crayon Rock Music, to celebrate Chinese New Year and the Year of the Rat! Meet some Chinese musical instruments and have a go at playing them, while learning about how children in China will be celebrating the New Year. Join in a special noisy dragon procession to bring good luck for the coming year!
For children age 2-4 and their grown-ups. £12 per child, and each child will have a picture book to take home to carry on the adventure.

Anyone can learn to play woodwinds! Just a reminder that I am now teaching flute, clarinet, and saxophone to all ages and Piano and guitar to beginners under ten at Rock Shop Allegro Westcliff and that the first 4 lessons cost a total of £34 which is quite a bargain. Slots available Thursday evenings and Saturday afternoons. No hard feelings if you just want to do the first month for a refresher/taster.
