Favor with God by Ven Amos Chijioke.
❓What actually is Favor with God? ❓
Favor with God could be considered thus:
1. To secure an ordinance with God;
2. To obtain grace in the site of God;
3. To be in good terms with God;
4. To be pleasing to God;
5. To have God favourably disposed to you.
❓How then do you find favor with God?❓
1. Through Regeneration {John 3: 3}: it means to be transformed from inside-out. To be religious and not know Jesus is the worst thing that can happen to you.
2. Faith in God {Hebrews 11: 6}: God is moved when you lean on Him without plan B just as the the three Hebrews did.
3. Righteousness {Hebrews 1: 8}: this is divided into Right standing with God and right acts/living right. It is righteousness that hates wickedness. 1peter3: 10-12
4. Generosity: viewed in two dimensions-
➡➡Towards God: Luke 12: 21
➡➡Towards men: Proverbs 19: 17.
Generosity is an attitude.
