Embracing women, from the cosmos to the sea

OCEANS. SUSTAINABILITY. CREATIVITY. EMPOWERMENT.

Published twice a year, Salty at Heart Journal features witty and creative content that highlights the work of female change-makers, scientists, humanitarians, politicians, artists, and explorers from across the globe. The name Salty at Heart is a metaphor for the connection of all life on Earth and our profound connection to the sea. As a result, there exists a salty, nature-based thread woven through each page of the journal. Our content aims to connect the dots between nature, society, and the cosmos at large.

EMPOWERING WOMEN AND GIRLS

In a world where advertisements, films, and magazines constantly objectify women, Salty at Heart decided to reject that notion and create a space where the strength, grit, intelligence, and compassion of women could be displayed, and where their ideas could be known.
