When we created the explainer video for IncQuery Suite in 2021, it consisted of 3 solutions.

Check out a recent update we did to the video now that the suite has 6 solutions (starting at 2:01).

Thanks to the deliberately modular structure of the animation, the implementation of these extensions was smooth.

What people tend to think VS reality regarding animated videos. 🧐

Creating an animated video can be complex. Even if you do it by yourself. It can seem to be a bit more complex if you hire someone or a team to do it as teamwork is introduced, briefing has to be done, etc. 👀

But it does not have to be that complex.

Sure, everyone loves to keep things simple.
But if you're trying to skip tasks - or make others skip or rush them - that seem unnecessary to you (with the intention to simplify and to speed up production (or to save on costs)) then you're doing it wrong. It is just pretending things got simpler, but in reality it makes things more complicated and more stressful for every party. ❌

Fast is good, rushed is not. 🤘

Instead, acknowledge that some tasks must be dealt with and taken into account. That they are part of the process. Once you accept this, you can plan with them and take the time to deal with them. Then - chances are - things will get smoother and simpler. 🚀

So don't be afraid to experiment with different formats, techniques and styles to reach out to them, educate them and guide them.

We review many company profiles (SaaS, SMB, startups, agencies, etc) and talk to many companies regularly. Our experience is that way into 2022, lots of them do not utilize proper video marketing and proper video content, with the exception of some ad-hoc "trash" content, recorded with the nearest smartphone on the go).

A proper video is one that matches the quality of the brand and the other brand assets and also spreads the desired messages. 💪

Many simply forget to add it into the marketing mix, while many do not know the possibilities or don't know where to start after being reminded that video marketing is a thing and should be made use of. 🤨
