How do you keep your kids occupied during holiday breaks? Phoenix working on his reading goals. He's reading his big Marvel book he got for Christmas! So proud of him. They gave him a "cup of hot chocolate " and he has to complete the "marshmallow" tasks.

Hey, y'all! I hope your 1st day of 2024 was relaxing and gave you some time to reflect on the last year. A lot of us had a rough time but I think it's safe to say most of us have a hopeful outlook for the new year! As we navigate through figuring out Phoenix's (and mine and Tori's issues as well with emotional regulation) there are many many meltdowns. Sherman and I don't always respond the best way and sometimes we react instead. I found myself last night after his meltdown at church calling myself a failure because I can't figure it out. But that's not true. This article really helped reinforce that we're already doing a lot of things right and some things we can do differently.

Dinner was 🍗chicken chili! I added some frozen cauliflower rice when I reheated it tonight and some salsa🌶 verde. Doesn't look that great lol 😋 but it sure tasted great. I always put big chucks of🧅 peppers, onions 🍅 and tomatoes🍅 in my chili.🌶 Yum! What did y'all have?

My dear friend, Darlene, sent me this awesome book with Texas jokes! 😄🤠We've been friends since 2007 since I ran to PA from TX due to domestic violence.
