Why is it that so many people don't particularly enjoy going to work?
To be honest with you I've had so many different jobs, but I have not liked a single one...
In my experience a traditional 9-5 provides a very ungrateful work enviroment.
For at least 8 hours of the day, you are met with pressure of deadlines, pressure of overload tasks, worry that you are not doing your job well enough, worry that your boss will be mad...
And when you finally get to go home, what do you do? Oh well you spend your free time complaining about work, going to bed with subtle anxiety of waking up and having to repeat everything again the next day.
All of that worry and you are still an insignificant employee that can be fired and replaced at any given time...
So, why do we do it then?
🫠 You feel forced because it's the only thing you know...
Maybe you need to open your mind and realise it is not the only life to live. It is not the only way to make money.
When I realised this I decided to educate myself so I evntually now have moved to a work enviroment where I can THRIVE
🥰 where I'm my own boss
🥰 where I choose my colleagues
🥰 where I can take breaks when I need
🥰 where I can GROW with my tasks
(instead of dealing with a potential depression or something lol - not even kidding, it now feels like that was where I was heading continuing down that path)
So, is it just me?
