MEET THE STAFF: Music

Hi! My name is Corey and I’m a junior studying music business in the Bandier Program 💘 WERW started out for me as a a creative outlet and hobby during COVID semester DJing with .nido on our iconic “you rock, i roll” show playing psychedelic rock. Fast forward as role of Music Director with the amazing , I hope to enhance WERW’s music team by uplifting DJ’s and showcasing musicians on and off campus. I also currently co-host a radio show on Wednesday’s 8:30pm with my band Froggies on Froggies Roundtable Radio, check it out! Excited and grateful to be a part of the best organization on campus 💋

Hey guys I’m Ashley!! I’m a co music director this semester for WERW! I’m a junior majoring in Communications Design and am also super interested in the music industry. I started my radio show as a freshman and going down to the studio and having my little hour to play whatever I want was one of my favorite parts of freshman year. I love music and connecting with people through music and WERW was a catalyst for a lot of my interests.

Hey guys! I’m Jada, and Im head of promotions for WERW :) I’m currently a junior majoring in communications with a minor in music Industry! I was initially involved with WERW as DJ for my very own podcast/Raido show where we played a mix of pop, rnB and indie! Our podcast is also partners with 1824 universal music group where we are attend and blog about artist press conferences, we also conduct and post interviews for SU artist here on campus! Being apart of WERW has honed my creativity skills as a person looking to workin with the music industry. I’m so excited for the remainder or this semester and what WERW has in the works!

MEET THE STAFF: GM María Nido

Hey, I'm María, one of the General
Managers at WERW :) I'm currently in
my junior year majoring in the Bandier
program. I started off as a WERW DJ
my freshman year with a show called
"You Rock. I Roll" I did with We played a bunch of
psychedelic rock. Then our
sophomore year we then we switched
to "MANUYO," which was our DJ duo
name. A lot of Azalea Banks &
Ashanti was played that vear. Now
coming into my junior as a GM, I co-
host "Froggies Roundtable Radio"
with . My ultimate
vision for WERW is simply to
document the music scene on-
campus, all the while making our DJs'
experience a worthwhile one, just like
it was for me
