𝑮𝒐𝒂𝒍𝒔 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒗𝒊𝒅𝒆 𝒅𝒊𝒓𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏, 𝒎𝒐𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒂 𝒔𝒆𝒏𝒔𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝒑𝒖𝒓𝒑𝒐𝒔𝒆 𝒊𝒏 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒍𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒔. They help us move forward, achieve our desired outcomes, and improve our overall productivity. Having goals is like 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖 𝙢𝙖𝙥. You know where you are heading, and this gives you zest, motivation, more energy, and a reason to get up in the morning. 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲.

But we should also remember that there are certain goals that 𝐰𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐧’𝐭 𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞; not because you lack of something but 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞’𝐬 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮. Healing is not a linear process. There will be curves, ups, and downs, and you will experience more pain during the process. 𝘛𝘰 𝘩𝘦𝘭𝘱 𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘭, 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘭 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧. On November 23, BS PSYCH 1A had their first recollection together. We let go of our worries, fears, anxieties, and stresses for one day and went on a rollercoaster of emotions. Laughter, tears, and understanding were shared amongst each other. Without a doubt, it was a 𝙢𝙚𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝙙𝙖𝙮.

“During our Mental Health Break, I used my time to spend with my family back in South Cotabato and Sultan Kudarat. I did a lot of traveling back and forth but it was 𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒆 𝒘𝒆𝒍𝒍 𝒔𝒑𝒆𝒏𝒕 to visit my grandparents and aunts. Coming back from a different Region, It was nice to visit Surallah again after months of being far away. Sleeping in the 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒕 𝒐𝒇 𝒎𝒚 𝒃𝒆𝒅 𝒃𝒂𝒄𝒌 𝒉𝒐𝒎𝒆 was incomparable.”

ᴛʜᴇ ᴡᴏʀᴅ ᴏꜰ ɢᴏᴅ makes us aware of sin and keeps us from sliding down a slippery slope. It doesn't mean we will never fail, but we won't continue to slide down. As an 𝒊𝒏𝒅𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒅𝒖𝒂𝒍 and 𝒃𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓, it is our willingness to acknowledge God in our lives. Despite our 𝙙𝙞𝙛𝙛𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙨, we should learn to adapt our distinct beliefs and try to understand one another. Learn how to understand 𝒑𝒆𝒐𝒑𝒍𝒆'𝒔 𝒄𝒖𝒍𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆𝒔, promote 𝒆𝒏𝒈𝒂𝒈𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 with others, and 𝒃𝒖𝒊𝒍𝒅 𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒐𝒏𝒈, 𝒅𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒆 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒆𝒔.
