Well most of you know, about Awaaz's come back- but there is still stuff that needs to be officially announced here.
First in Alhumdulilah for the revival of Awaaz because we all missed it- didn't we? The Awaaz Team and the BSS faculty has made a decision to continue the official magazine- under the column of Awaaz but the name would officially be referred as BF Official Magazine which is great news for all you writers because there will be many more contributions to take as a magazine!

The permanent writer's panel would be decided in the following months, so all you writers brush your skills and grab your stuff and start forwarding it to us on [email protected]

Hello readers!

First in order is an apology for our sudden disappearance and the year of dormancy.
Following that, is the news of our come back. Come back with a fresh new team of editors and writers! Yes, once again, Awaaz is being handed down to our very capable juniors, Rida Kamal, the new Editor-in-Chief and her editorial team. I'm confident they will have a lot to add to Awaaz and will keep up with the standards in the coming years.

Glad as I am to continue the tradition and hand over the reins, I want to thank the school administration, the former team, the readers and the former editors for giving me the chance to be associated with such a tremendous experience and supporting me all along.

I hope Awaaz continues to inspire writers and activists to speak up and be heard, just like it once inspired me!

It has been a tremendous 2 years being a part of Awaaz, first as a sub-editor and then editor-in-chief. I am so proud to have been among the founders of Beaconhouse's first ever student run newspaper. My team worked extremely hard for each issue, and the work and energy we put into making each copy possible was completely worth it because of the phenomenal response from our readers. Thank you so much to everyone who supported us and read each issue. A special thank you to our teachers, first Ma'am Khalida and then Ma'am Rabia Ilyas and Sir Zahid for letting us continue Awaaz as part of the A Level Magazine Society.
We are handing over the reins to Marium Naveed, the new editor-in-chief and we are positive she will do a much better job than us. Those interested in being writers or illustrators can contact Marium.
Awaaz, you will be missed!

- It's time we retire and hand over the newspaper completely to our very able juniors. Our new Editor-in-Chief is Marium Naveed! We're sure Awaaz will do even better with her as head this year. Congratulations Marium!

Tomorrow marks the day of an end (and hopefully, the beginning) of a democratic government for the first time in a very long time in our country
That is something we should all be proud of and vote wisely tomorrow for a better, prospering Pakistan
It doesn't matter who you vote for, just go out there and vote for the sake of this country! Because later, you have no right to complain if you don't stand up and voice your opinions
