From this past NYE Beetleball at Mahall's!!
The Weird Wedding & Beetleball New Year's Eve 2019 at Mahall's in Lakewood was inspired by Tim Burton's Beetlejuice! The black and white stripes at Mahall's lend themselves again and again to these atmospheres! Lots of blue and red lights, to inspire Delia Deetz transformation of the Maitland's Connecticut cottage! Complete with a The Sandworm, and a mantle "wedding arch"! The Deetz sculpture and so much more! It was so great to expand our theme to spill out into the lobby this year as well as the Locker room "Waiting Room" downstairs!
Year after year I thank Kelly & Joe co-owners of Mahall's for being completely supportive. I 100 % could not have thrown this party without the help love and support of my partner Terry Metter! I do not own a warehouse yet so most of these special things and props live with us year round and our living room becomes a workshop for the month of December!
Thank you to Sam Harmon & Wes Johansen who's DJing kept everyone dancing all night and Wes whose projections and countdown made the night as usual!
Thanks Zachariah Durr for your dedication to our party and MCing as our very own Beetlejuice!
With me as usual is my co-planner Cassie Trainer who I thank for helping fund the party & bringing her kitschy creativity to bring you amazing themed cocktails to toast in the New Year!
Thank you, Dylan Glover & Erin Brennan who held down the door all night wristbanding over 600 people.
Thank you Alicia the kitchen manager who found us our wedding cake!
A huge thanks to all Mahall's staff year after year Sue, Tim, Chris, Kurt, Jorge, Adam, Caleb, Ali, Nate, Kyle, Cobb, sound by DJ, kitchen staff, bar staff, bowling counter and everyone I'm missing! You are the glue that holds it all together!

Thanks as always to my supportive mom Bunny Hudson who inspires so much of this stuff and helps support this business. And my dad Kenneth Morris who is constantly helping me retrieve fun things and moving!
Definitely can't forget to thank our lucky couples who "tied the knot" even if they weren't planning on it the fortuitous Red Lydias & Dylan + Cobb !! You all are hilarious and I appreciate your commitment to this vision!
