Engine House - Weekend progress. Brendan and Stewart, with help from Jay Verney set the second front door on the east stall. This means that the run through stall now has a complete set of doors. Construction of the doors for the center stall will begin soon and will be a bit easier to set since they go on the stall where they are built.

The front of consists of a large vertical, C-shaped plow that lifts snow off the railroad tracks and shoots it off either side.

Our 1911 Baldwin Steam Engine:
I finally found a nice photo that was sent to us some years ago ,of the former Eastern Gas and Fuel yarding engine from MA. 1959 photo. It was bought at the Steamtown auction in Bellows Falls, VT and was the first piece of railroad equipment repaired and put on display.

Budd RDC 'Millie' is finishing up the season on the Conway and Sawyer River runs. Trains run Monday and Tuesday (November 21 and 22).

Santa's Holiday Express begins the holiday season on the day after Thanksgiving with trains scheduled for 11:30 and 1:30 on weekends up to Christmas.

Advance ticket purchase is advised for all trains.

Class III Eastern Maine Railway Company (EMR) has filed a verified notice of exemption under 49 CFR 1150.41 to acquire approximately 36.57 miles of main line and nine miles of branch line in Maine from Central Maine & Quebec Railway US Inc. (CMQR), which is owned by Canadian Pacific (CP).
