Never ignore your own body and changes that can happen!
The first day of the school summer holidays I was diagnosed of having a menugionma brain tumor !
I have now had the horrid thing removed this week, thanks to those that knew and stuck by me over the last few months. It’s been awful.
Please never ignore the little things that are changes in yourself, my only symptoms were headaches.

Feel like now is the time to say a massive thank you to our NHS, my doctors surgery, University Hospitals Dorset, neurology at University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust and to those of you that have known and kept me going.
Am rocking a new skinhead combover look right now but it hopefully will all be over, now to enjoy being looked after for the next 6 weeks.

Since cutting back by 75% on my sugar I've had less brain fog in the morning and lost 5 lbs in month. My goal ISN'T skinny it's to be the HEALTHIEST I can 💪💚 and sugar is so toxic to our brains and bodies. I still treat myself on Friday but overall as hard as its been I've stopped eating a lot of sugary foods and eating more fresh fruit 🥭

Hospital appointment number two this week.

Some of you will know I’ve had some health changes recently, thank fully the NHS are doing all checks.

This pic is my brain the blue dots are changes within my brain, seen one doctor now waiting for another. They wouldn’t be concerned if I was 80 but I’m not so lots of checks to find out what is going on.

Thank you to all my friends that have supported me and looked after me recently and checked in on me, I appreciate you all!

More blood tests needed and further mri in a few months with dye to check for any further changes.

Thank you NHS for all you do! I am truly grateful.

Another year down! Healthy and thriving 🥰 i love my doctors ! Dr Kirkpatrick is the best in the game! I even got to see some of my radiation techs who told me I’m one of their featured patients on the Cancer Institute Board and my case and study is helping a lot of people. Means so freakin much. Swipe right to see my tumor. It’s still there but staying in its lane and minding its own business. 💅🏼 it feels good to be walking around healthy for another year ! Treat everyday like it’s a blessing 🙏🏻 thank you ❤️

5 years ago today I was told that killing off one brain tumour and surviving a genuine hole in the head wasn’t enough so another brain tumour came along to have its arse kicked with a smidge of radiation and fair bit of chemotherapy. 5 years later I’m pretty much tumour free! 💪

Tomorrow marks the end of International Brain Tumour Awareness Week, and this quote from Tessa's final parliamentary speech sums up how important it is to keep both a global perspective and a community perspective when trying to solve big issues.

"For what would every cancer patient want? To know that the best, the latest science was being used - wherever in the world it was developed, whoever began it.

What else do they want? They need to know they have a community around them – supporting and caring. Being practical and kind.

For while doctors look at the big picture, we can all be a part of the human-sized picture."
