Amazing Grace LOVES swimming. She likes to go swimming in our pond whenever she gets the chance, but she hadn't tried to swim with me on her before. I guess she decided she would change that today. She made a quick beeline to the water despite my protests. There was no stopping her at all, lol. It was terrifying to me because I know how deep the pond is, and it would only be a matter of time before she got to deeper water. This was not how I pictured our first swim to be like! Oh well, at least she had fun! 😄

Rafiki threw a fit because I wouldn't let him roll during our training session. 😂
Rafiki is a good boy who is sweet and playful. He enjoys spending time with me during our sessions and trying new things. But he got a little upset this time and decided to voice his opinion. After a few bucks, he relented and settled down, returning to his usual happy and friendly self.

After a long hiatus, my sweet mustang mare, Hope is back undersaddle.
With having so much going on, sadly, working with her got put on hold. But I gotta tell you, although it has been about A YEAR since she has been undersaddle, she has been AMAZING. She is one of the SANEST horses I've started. She's always been a fast learner, taking every new experience in stride. She is the mustang that made me fall in love with training wild horses. I LOVE this little mare, and it feels so good to be back to working with her! 💜😍🐎

We've been doing a lot of spring cleaning lately. One of the tasks was to clear our trails by moving the leaves and cleaning up any fallen branches.
Cleaning and maintaining our trails before the warmer weather officially sets in helps us avoid snakes, ticks, and chiggers. It was very satisfying to see how neat the path was once it was done. Now we just have to finish the rest of them!
