Mythical Integration: 7 Days to Die
Just to start new dialog here; I am currently working on a few final things for the A19.6 version that involve balancing a few commands and adding a couple of QoL things. I'm hoping to be done with that within the next few days, but there are a couple small hurdles.

One thing I hope to do is to make beneficial spawns more obvious as being beneficial. Another is that I may completely change the way that the battlepit command functions as right now it has too many edge cases that make it problematic... like going off right next to a safe zone being able to destroy things within the safe zone. I'm looking at a couple different methods to make this less likely, and to potentially reduce the amount of blasted landscape it creates as right now it only takes a few blasts in the same spot to take you to bedrock.

So the stat system is fully developed, and is moving along nicely, but the concept of how we want to get attacks working is not as easy as was originally anticipated. It's a slow down, but not drastic yet.

The combat system for the new game is ironed out. It is versatile enough that it can be used in multiple types of games, but looks like it will be a hair reminiscent of the Pokemon combat system with character stats modifying attacks that have their own stats.

This means that we are moving in the direction of a Turn Based RPG, and have one of the more complex elements figured out.

I don't know how long this project will take in its entirety, but I am going to start by building a battle simulator for this style of combat system. This means the next thing on my agenda is creating the State Machine for combat, and an interface, as well as the initial settings of the various classes. I'm not going to add equipment to the mix just yet, because I need a more quickly attainable goal.

Eventually, We will release a copy of the battle simulator so all of you can test it out and see what you think of the combat system and how it might need to be tweaked while I work on other parts.

We are currently in the very early stages of establishing a project for PC or mobile devices, and since we are going to be more active, we want to know what you, our fans, want to see from us.

Do you want to see more gaming related memes, or do you want to see more serious aspects of gaming? Would you prefer to see content based on table-top, pc, or console games?

We would like your input as to what direction Mythical should move during this resurgence of activity.

I, specifically, don't generally ask this question, but I ask that you share and like the posts that we make that are interesting to you, as it helps to generate a larger community, and keep our page more active in your feed, as well as promoting the parts of our site that you like to see, allowing us to create more of the content that you will more likely enjoy.

Please share your thoughts and ideas here, and make your gaming experiences mythical.

Okay... I'm looking at actually starting a new project... Developing an app for Android, most likely.

I'd like to know what type of game people would like to see me make, and what platform they'd like to see it for.

I cannot do Mac or iOS due to the fact that I presently do not have a Mac and that is a prerequisite to compile on those systems.

Please post in the comments if you would be interested in a specific genre of game. I'm heavily considering either a turn based RPG or a tower defense game.

We've apparently drawn some attention during our hiatus. Things just got VERY busy here, and I'm not sure how much progress we will be able to make.

We will at least try to add more to the arcade, but I am in Calc I, Data Structures, Irish Lit, and Discrete Math. Not sure how this will affect me for during semester work, but I will try to get back in to some game production.

Part of the problem, for those who don't know, is that my hard drive crashed while trying to add a new partition to it, and I lost all my data, including what I had already developed for both a Tower Defense, and The Seven Shards.

I will be rebuilding both, but the Tower Defense will likely be first.

Supplies for the trip to the lake have been purchased. Yes, we have been slow on here, but we are still working for Mythical fans right now by prepping for the big camping trip at Parker Canyon Lake. We have entertainment, just prepare yourselves with you, your tent, your clothes, and a desire to have fun. (plus the cost to help us recoup the cost of this trip.)

Hiding certainly doesn't help you understand him, but you continue to watch and find that he is being followed by another one of his kind, who is listening intently as the first gives some form of recitation or instruction. The second rarely responds, and when it does, it is a very short response. The first filters through a bit of the remains in some of the traps and hands a small shield to the second, who straps it to his arm. The first then picks up a weapon and swings at the second

As you approach the cave-like hole the smell of the swampy muck around you is overpowered by the stench of decay and waste. You see rotten half-eaten food and destroyed wooden armor and shields littering the ground throughout the area with a spattering of traps that have been triggered, but have not been reset. You hear the sounds of a somewhat high pitched voice speaking in a language you don't understand emanating from the cave, and a small green humanoid walk out of the cave entrance.

As you continue to follow the river, the trees get thicker. Eventually the river becomes shallower and wider until the ground is readily absorbing the water all around you. It becomes impossible to follow the river, as water surrounds you, and it is difficult to tell where the ground is at all in some spots. You notice that the sounds of the woods have changed, and you hear more mosquitoes and frogs at this point than birds and small woodland animals. You think you see a cave a bit farther up.
