APTRA ACADEMY 2010 – IMMERSION JOURNALISM CAMP is an annual training session put on by the Associated Press Television and Radio Association for those considering careers in broadcast journalism. We stage a newsworthy event on location in Malibu Canyon and provide students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience under the guidance of experienced news reporters, anchors, photographers, editors,

news managers, writers, producers, assignment editors and others. You’ll walk away with professional quality resume reel material, interactive mentorship and new friends and connections. The camp is offered in both English and Spanish speaking media. We have seen some fine journalists move on to great jobs after camp.
