So this picture showed up on FB yesterday and some people made comments about how they couldn't stand John Denver's voice, compared to Frank's. They were two entertainers who got together often at The Compound in Palm Springs, probably good friends and respected each other for their talents. John Denver wrote all of his songs, (covered several Beatles) which I believe Frank respected, John probably made more money in publishing royalties and his legacy still goes on today. Frank had style and a way of phrasing his music, which John respected. Open for discussion!

FEATURE THIS JUNE 2022! DEAN MARTIN (born Dino Paul Crocetti; June 7, 1917 – December 25, 1995) was an American singer, actor and comedian of Italian descent. One of the most popular and enduring American entertainers of the mid-20th century, Martin was nicknamed "The King of Cool". Martin gained his career breakthrough together with comedian Jerry Lewis, billed as Martin and Lewis, in 1946. They performed in nightclubs and later had numerous appearances on radio, television and in films. He later became Pals with Frank (The Rat Pack) and the rest is history. This month on Sinatra Style Channel, I'll be featuring 2 tracks of Dean Martin's every hour. TUNE IN! JAZZRADIO.COM/SINATRASTYLE

Song Spotlight: ""I'm A Fool To Want You"" 🎶 Originally written by Frank Sinatra, Jack Wolf, and Joel Herron, the song was the opening track on Billie's 1958 album, LADY IN SATIN. Her stunning vocals heightened the emotional gravity of the song, which details the ups and downs of heartbreak and falling in love.
