It was truly energizing to connect with brilliant young leaders who are driving change and working to shape a better future for all. We were honored to be a part of these important events and share our work and music on a global stage. Here’s to the power of youth, innovation, and collaboration in building a brighter tomorrow.

We're in Egypt for two international UN forums!

On October 31st, we celebrated World Cities Day in Alexandria speaking about our passion for empowering youth through the arts. It was an amazing opportunity to connect with likeminded passionate people from around the world and experience the rich culture of this beautiful country.

For the past few days we’ve been in Cairo preparing for our involvement in series of events at the 12th session of the World Urban Forum and take in more of this incredible country.

What an honor it was to be invited to speak on an international stage about my work with youth and the transformative power of arts education in shaping lives and communities. Carter Chiasson and Emma Stevens from The EYM Project took part in a United Nations panel discussion today on creativity being a catalyst for empowerment and economic growth. Carter and Emma talked about how their music and video projects have helped Mi’kmaq cultural preservation efforts and have helped bring awareness to social issues in marginalized communities. The EYM Project is grateful for this opportunity and look forward to continuing this discussion.
