Education Victoria

Proud to share a brand new video project with all of you.

This promotional piece for Education Victoria is meaningful for me for two reasons.

First off, it allowed me to showcase the beauty and inspiration that my hometown has to offer.

Secondly, it allowed me to go "back to my roots" and experiment with audio: sampling and sequencing interesting noises to create a soundscape of learning in Victoria.

Cox Bay Beach Resort - Tofino, British Columbia

Over the summer (and into the fall), I've had the opportunity to film quite a few projects in Tofino, British Columbia. A dream job for a West-coaster like me.

One of those projects was for Cox Bay Beach Resort - One of the most inspiring properties I've ever seen. As I recount the experience to friends, I'm not surprised to hear that many of them also have fond experiences at Cox Bay.

I hope you get a sense of how jaw-dropping this experience was for me.

Fun facts about this recent project with Uptown!

- It's the first time I've ever used a Dubstep song for a video.

- I bought $40 worth of fake snow and confetti blasters.

- I only got to film for 45 minutes before the kids were over it.
