We wrote this story to honor our grandparents who were married for almost 70 years until December 2020 when our grandfather passed. Their love continues to inspire us!

The theme of the last event of 2020 was JOY. 2020 was a struggle, and 2021 might be more of the same - but we have to find our JOY in the Lord. He doesn't change with the seasons!

[Peace on Earth - Emmanuel ] We shot and edited this meditation video for our first virtual event...The Healing Room: Peace Edition in August (a space for Black women of faith, by Black women of faith). The 2nd event - The Healing Room: Love took place this past Sunday (virtually) and was incredible. I have no words for the depth of experience that we, over 50 Black women from different states and stages of life, shared together.



With so much happening in the world today, reflect and meditate on God...He is the God of peace.

[Grateful] This past Sunday I had the honor of bringing together creative women of faith to share their stories and songs with a group of over 50 Black women at . (A virtual Event series created and hosted by Kelli of TJC). It was amazing..so grateful and thankful to God to be able to connect with these amazing creatives (poets, authors, musicians, singers, speakers)

Love to the team who held down the BTS

Love to the attendees who showed up in the space and were open to a new experience - of creativity and conversation! (We had women from Texas to New York, from South Florida to Detroit and states in between!)

I've already said thanks a few times but can't stop because it was so amazing and every time I think about it...I am just grateful for these women, my sisters, we have shared a moment that can't be recreated. And I AM most thankful to God who strengthens me to serve!
