Feeling compelled to throw this one out today.

I’m noticing so many people out there just so self absorbed and in competition to get one up on the next person.

Whilst it’s great to be ambitious and strive to be better, but having a negative or nit picking approach to others will have deminshing returns for all involved.

10 Years married and what a ride.

So Rach and I hit a massive milestone yesterday, with 10 years of marriage ticked over.

Together for 14 years now, we met and pretty much hit the ground running living together (In a share house) within weeks.

Within 3 months of meeting, Rach had to leave Australia returning to England, so I thought why not and jumped on an Adventure overseas.

We had an amazing time in England living with Rach’s fantastic parents, but when we found out our beautiful daughter Myla was on the way, we both knew that there is no place quite like the land downunder to raise a family.

From humble beginnings we have been through many of life's ups, downs, triumph’s, growth and tough lessons such as:

Building lifelong friends

New passions
Career changes and upskilling

Some days you think to yourself why is this s**t so hard, and other days you feel like the luckiest man alive. But through it all Rach has never wavered on her commitment to our marriage and family.

Anyone that knows Rach, can attest to her genuine care for others and loyalty to those that she cares for. Sometimes to the detriment of her own self care. I count my lucky stars to have such a strong and caring partner, who can look past my many quirks but still be standing right beside me.

New beginning’s and massive growth happened for us in 2023

July 2023 Rach and I took ourselves from the sidelines, to playing on the mainstage in our own business.

Prior to this we had stagnated and found ourselves just spinning the wheels in life. We had both been searching for something more out of life, but just didn't know how to find it.

We had researched, looked into and almost started a few businesses but they all just seemed to be ventures where you're buying another JOB, just with more responsibility and less time freedom.

We were more than up for working hard, but we didn't see the point of business ventures that just shackle you.

After observing other business owners, especially in brick and mortar type businesses working their asses to the bone, becoming stressed and burnt out, all to bring in a few extra dollars it just didn't seem worth the sacrifice from our observations.

Fast forward to June 2023 we found a business model, where the buy in was a product that will actually enhance the health and wellbeing of our family, and also offered life changing earning potential with flexibility attached. Boom, we finally found it.

After starting the business and joining an amazing training platform and community, it was immediately apparent that a lot of personal growth needed to become the main focus over all else.

Since our descent into the online business space, we have learnt the power of scheduling personal development on the daily and consuming only the highest quality content in regards to podcasts, books and learning material. We have a long way to go but we have managed to take ourselves from feeling:

Pessimistic to Optimistic
Fixed to Growth Mindset
Stagnant to Energised

We are now making bold dreams and plans, with a confidence that we can actually make them happen. And to be honest we love this s**t, we have learned so many new skills and discovered a whole other world of people that are absolutely crashing it in life. Surrounding yourself with action takers really lights a fire up your ass.

Like many others, we were never programmed to think that opportunities like this actually existed, so I’m so glad we were proactive enough to source it out.

I really hope that you're moving into the New Year thinking wow we have so much growth and opportunity at our fingertips.

As we approach this in between period of the holiday season, we have choices with how our time is spent.

This time could be spent researching, learning and planning for a successful 2024. Or it could be sent into a black hole of lounging around and overindulging.

“Move the needle” is a term we like to throw out regularly, as we feel it quite accurately articulates the art of implementing and taking small little consistent action steps toward our bigger goal’s.

Now don’t get me wrong you should definitely be spending QUALITY time with your kids and family, but really ask yourself, is it quality and necessary.

Example: Sitting around and drinking, indulging and watching TV, whilst you could be learning new skills or pursuing a business opportunity is probably not quality time?

Full transparency, I have found it very hard this Christmas to wind down as I’m obsessed with standing here in the next few years knowing that my hard work and delayed gratification have led our family away from a scarcity scenario to abundant resources that will create experiences we never thought possible.

Pocket money for chores....... The girls were rewarded for their hard work this week in helping me to do the housework. It was great to watch them learn new skills and instill a good work ethic especially in today's youth!!

Our eldest said that she would happily do it for nothing and could see how much it had helped me get things done quicker, leaving more time to spend with them. The youngest doesn't know the value of cash and would of been happy just with a gold coin for her efforts. Either way it was a win win for us.

Value Vs Price

Where do you stand in relation to investing in the health of your family?
Does the price tag come into play?

This is no judgment, but many people will compromise on value due to the price tag when it comes to health related products. But often you will see this same person cruising past in their new car that was just financed.

To be brutally honest we have done this to some degree in the past, but there has been a big shift in our thinking over the last few years, whereas value and ROI are more of a contributing factor than price in our decision making.

Referring back to our High-Ticket affiliate marketing business, we came into this business purchasing all 3 of our main products, when we could have been frugal and just purchased 1.

Why?
Because we compartmentalized our decision into 2 categories:

Family Health: We wanted to invest in products that we wholeheartedly believed would provide an ROI for our families wellbeing.

High-Ticket affiliate marketing has strengthened our marriage.

Prior to starting this business Rach and I were obviously a team, raising children and running a household. We have now added an extra layer as we build this online business together.

We are now business partners building a personal brand that aligns with our values and our relationship has really strengthened from this experience.

MAN'S BEST FRIEND

Hey team,
Sometimes it takes an emergency or crisis to put things into perspective, and can cause massive growth.

A pivotal moment for our family was when my best friend “HARRY” was seriously ill.
