The loss of Charles “Spanky” Lake in April 2024 to esophageal cancer affected the lives of many people. Lake was the drummer in Yachtzilla!, a yacht-rock themed cover band from Arizona, and was friends with many fellow musicians as well as a loving husband to his wife, Terri Lake.
