If it ain’t Knockin’, it ain’t poppin’!
Founded in 1999, Steady Knockin’ Music is a record company that believes in quality. We encourage our artists to be themselves and to always think outside the box.
The company consists of artists Lozo Gottem, Jack Barter, Black Phenix, Don and Eyegasmic Designs. In 2003, the company released a collecive mixtape entitled “Purple Reign vol. 1” that gained the artists a lot of attention in Sacramento,CA. In 2005, Jack Barter (formerly known under the moniker Young T) released his debut album entitled “Tha Quest.”
In 2007, Jack Barter and Lozo Gottem released a joint venture entitled “Da Fam” and released an album entitled “Underestimated” and a mixtape styled radio show entitled “Steady Knockin Radio Vol. 1” in 2010. In 2013, the artists recorded another collective album entitled “The Plot, The Plan, The Execution” and released the lead single “I Want It” in 2015.
